Venus in Virgo
October 9 – November 2
This one’s a bit of a downer. Thankfully, there is a mitigating factor with Mercury in Libra, exchanging with Venus in Virgo. This can lead to a better way of communicating what is ‘wrong’, made all the better when we are focused on how to make it ‘right’.
Yet still, Venus has fallen in Virgo, and the mood tends to dip. This can have a knock-on effect on every area of your life. It’s the reason economic forecasters predict something less than ideal. It’s all about the mood and what one anticipates.
Relationships can also suffer. Virgo is conditional. Relationships benefit when it’s otherwise. Yet, every planet in every sign is good for something. This one’s good for improving your relationships, as long as you are not overly focused on what’s going wrong (or what was never right).
Venus represents different kinds of relationships for each sign (see below). Take the time to look at your own shortcomings as much as you look at others.
When someone has Venus in Virgo natally, they may direct the critical impulse outwardly, especially if the person isn’t looking at their own shortcomings. We call this ‘trolling’ in the internet age. It’s one of the less pleasant aspects of being in online spaces.
If Venus, in its exalted state, is unconditional love for all beings, Venus in Virgo can remove this sense of connection to others who don’t fit the mould. Yet, the other side of this is also possible: you may overcompensate and bend over backwards to compliment and please the other. Yet it may not be authentic.
Venus in Virgo tries too hard to be loved or find love, not realising we are all an expression of Love.
